At BrightStart Phonics Tutoring, I help children build confidence and strong foundations in reading, writing and early maths through engaging, phonics-based lessons.

Sessions are available online and in person from my home, offering flexible, high-quality support for all learners—including children with dyslexia, autism and ADHD.

Phonics Foundations
An introduction to phonics for preschoolers, alongside early maths mastery. Sessions include finger gym activities to develop fine motor skills and prepare children for writing, while building early number confidence. Learning is gently aligned with early years expectations to support a smooth transition into school.

Phonics KickStart
Designed for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, including preparation for the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check. Lessons build reading fluency, writing confidence and early maths understanding, carefully matched to your child’s school phonics programme to reinforce and accelerate progress.

Phonics Power-Up
For Year 2 and beyond, supporting children to consolidate phonics knowledge, strengthen spelling and reading skills, and develop early maths mastery. Sessions are tailored to complement school learning, boosting confidence and creating strong foundations for continued success.
